There are a number of ski / snowboard equipment hire shops in Morzine. However, over the past 26 years we have used Francois Baud - Freeride. This is a friendly and reliable family run ski hire shop which is very conveniently situated near the bottom of the Pleney lift.

Morzine is located within one and a half hour's easy drive from Geneva airport and half an hour's drive from the Cluses TGV railway station.
It is easily accessible from the airport by either hired car or by using one of the many very reliable minibus shuttle companies that operate excellent and regular services between the airport and the Chalet's front door.

The Portes du Soleil is located in the Northern French Alps close to Mont Blanc and is only 50 miles east of Geneva. It offers 650km of ski runs ranging from an altitude of 1000m to 2466m. Because it benefits from Mont Blanc's microclimate it boasts a good snow record.
